Program Director
Deborah began her career in the non-profit world writing grants and keeping books for dance companies in New York City. She has worked with new parents and families coaching, facilitating groups and developing programming. She served as Parent Coordinator for Of One Mind, an outpatient center for teens dealing with addiction and learning difficulties. As Program Administrator for Whole Child Foundation, Deborah created and facilitated arts-based workshops for children and teens with chronic pain. She served as a communications consultant for the LA County Medical Association, working closely with agencies, healthcare organizations and physicians across the county to raise awareness around social issues such as equity in healthcare and physician burnout. As a freelance writer, Deborah has worked as a content specialist and journalist. Her work has been published in both local and national outlets.
